FAQ

Q: What is the function of ATTORNEY COLLECTION SERVICES?
A: ATTORNEY COLLECTION SERVICES is a receivables management firm whose principals have over 50 years experience in the management and recovery of past due accounts. We are a commercial/consumer collection agency with unparalleled skill in the collection of delinquent accounts. As a team we feel we have the most effective collection system in the entire United States.

Q: Why should we use a collection agency instead of an attorney?
A: Attorneys specialize in filing suit and if they win, receiving a judgment. They bill hourly and as a rule have no financial interest in the collection of the judgment. We collect judgments on a contingency fee basis, no collection-no charge.

Q: If my claim is pursued by ATTORNEY COLLECTION SERVICES for collection, will I lose my customer?
A: We realize your desire to maintain a profitable business relationship with your customer. You also have indicated a critical need to be paid. We can tailor our collection effort to your requirements.

Q: I realize the value of retaining a collection agency, but does our budget allow for an agency fee in our collection process?
A: You will be delighted to hear that our rate of recovery is much higher than agencies using a lawyer in the process. Our intensive collection program is much faster, our volume is larger, therefore our charges are always competitive and most of the time lower than your other choices.

Q: If I’m paid by the debtor after I assign a claim to ATTORNEY COLLECTION SERVICES, do I still owe a fee?
A: Yes, we encourage your debtor to pay you directly to assist with your cash flow. You will be billed by our company for our low fee.

Q: Do you accept accounts that have been placed with a Collection Agency or Attorney previously?
A: Yes, we do handle accounts that have been assigned previously.

Q: Do you collect judgments?
A: Yes, we specialize in collecting Judgments.
